Alaska Youth Soccer (AYSA) is the official Alaska State Association and member of the United States Soccer Federation, and US Youth Soccer. AYSA serves as the premier facilitator for youth soccer in the state representing 16 affiliate member associations and clubs comprising membership with over 9,000 registered players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and league administrators. Alaska Youth Soccer, with a service area covering the Interior, Anchorage, Mat-Su, Kenai Peninsula, and the Southeast, provides rewarding recreational and competitive opportunities for players of all ages, genders, and skill levels.
Alaska Youth Soccer is the largest youth sports organization in Alaska with over 7,000 players. With its proactive approach to full inclusion and year-round play, AYSA presents players of all ages and skill levels an opportunity to play in a multitude of different programs and leagues despite its geographical and weather challenges. Built on community, AYSA delivers great support, education, and development for its members and players, fostering growth in both the grassroots and competitive environments and has become the premiere sports organization in the state.

Since 1989, we have worked to fine tune this comprehensive program and the member benefits that go with it. Member benefits are designed to aid in the creation, implementation, and execution of programming and services aimed at growing, enhancing, and improving the sport of soccer in Alaska. Statewide Player Opportunities
US Youth Soccer and Alaska Youth Soccer enable players and teams to participate in local leagues, regional leagues, and the premier National League. College coaches are present at the Region ODP tournaments, the Western Region Championships, and the National Championships.
Player and Coach Risk Management
US Youth Soccer and AYSA provides a complete service of Risk Management for your club, providing training and safety materials on goal security, sexual abuse awareness, concussion protocol/awareness, and rest and recovery for player development.
Coach Education
Members have access to statewide coaching seminars. The Alaska State Director of Coaching will be available to help develop club coaches/volunteers. Annual Youth module training provided by AYSA for recreational coaches at no cost to the coach or club. Ability to register/attend USSF license courses, grassroots coaching courses and the AYSA Coaching Enhancement Grant Program.
Administrative Services
Members have access to the AYSA State Office for support and guidance throughout the year. The dedicated staff will provide real time assistance to clubs and administrators. The AYSA office can assist clubs with writing and revising bylaws, board support, facilitating claims for injuries, providing guidance, and overall club support, along with processing AYSA club/player/team forms, and yearly adult volunteer backgrounds checks. Your programs, players, administrators, facilities, camps, and tournaments will be insured through your Alaska Youth Soccer membership fees.
